| The
Sacred Scripture |
|
The
Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete
revelation to mankind. |
| The
Godhead |
|
Our
God is One, but manifested in three persons; the Father, the
Son, and the Holy Spirit. |
| The
Lord Jesus Christ |
|
That
Jesus is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the
Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified,
buried, and raised from the dead. That he ascended to heaven
and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor. |
| The
fall of man and Salvation |
|
That
man was created upright and good, for God said “Let us
make man in our own image, after our likeness.” But man,
by voluntary transgression, fell. |
|
All
have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and that repentance
is commanded of God for all and necessary for the forgiveness
of sins. |
| Justification
and Sanctification |
|
That
justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by
faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy
Spirit. |
|
We
believe in Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive, work
of grace commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing
until the consummation of Salvation |
|
Holiness
is to be God’s standard of living for His people. |
| Water
Baptism |
|
Baptism
in water is by immersion. It is a direct commandment of our
Lord for believers only. Through water baptism they have the
body washed in pure water as an outward symbol of cleansing,
while their heart has already been sprinkled with the blood
of Christ as an inner cleansing. Thus, they declare to the world
that they have died with Jesus and that they have been raised
with him to walk in newness of life. |
| Baptism
in the Holy Spirit |
|
In
the baptism of the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart. |
|
The
baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God as promised
by the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are believers. This experience
is accompanied by the initial evidence of the speaking in other
tongues as the Holy Spirit himself gives utterance. |
| Healing |
|
Deliverance
from sickness is provided for all in the atonement and is the
privilege for all believers |
| The
Lord’s Supper and washing of the saint’s feet |
|
The
Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and fruit
of the vine, is the memorial of His suffering and death. We
also believe in the washing of saints’ feet. |
| Resurrection
for the just and the return of our Lord |
|
In
the premillenial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect
the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him
in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years. |
|
In
the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous |
| Hell
and eternal retribution |
|
The
person who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly
and eternally lost in the lake of fire, and therefore has no
further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance.
The lake of fire is literal. |
